MIRROR BALL

MIRROR BALL

SET UP

Remove inflatable and air blower from carry bags, undo cloth tie and roll out inflatable in a clean dry area.

Slot the black rubber air tube over the front section of the blower (there are rubber lugs inside of the black tube that lock into the base). Plug in to a power source. Test to see if it blows air out of the rubber tube.

party hire classic star lighting inflatable event decoration

Locate the pressure release air valve on the mirror ball. Twist and remove the outer cap. You will see a central pin with a spring on the inner valve – push this down and twist it clockwise so that it locks in a “down” position. This opens the air valve so you can pump air inside.  Place black air blower tube over the valve and turn it on. It should immediately begin to inflate. Ensure the seal is as air-tight as possible.

party hire Mirror ball inflatable event decoration

Once the product is fully inflated (approx. 3-5 mins – inflatable should be very firm to touch), quickly remove air blower and twist central pin in reverse direction (anti-clockwise) to pop it up and seal in air. No air should be leaking out of the inflatable or the air release valve (if there is, check for holes or see if valve pin is stuck). Carefully lock on outer cap by twisting on.

party hire Mirror ball inflatable event decoration

Hang up inflatable using attached string loop near air release valve, making sure it is securely fastened. *Important – DO NOT place inflatable near sharp objects that can potentially puncture the PVC.

PACK DOWN

Remove outer cap of pressure release valve and twist central pin so it locks into “down” position. Air should rush out.

Party hire classic star lighting inflatable event decoration

If you need to deflate the ball faster you can use the air blower on reverse – simply remove the black air tube from the front of the blower and place it over the side nozzle instead – then seal over air valve. It should now be sucking air instead of blowing it.

Once mirror ball has deflated, fold in sides and gently roll towards the air release valve, squeezing air out as you go.

Secure with cloth tie and place inflatable into large carry bag. Pull tight and close with rope string.

The next mode on the menu is the “dEdF” mode – which is the sound activation mode. If you place the light directly in front of a speaker with the microphone jack facing the speaker (ie just to the left of the Menu button) it will change colour in time to the music! In other words you can create your own wireless disco!

The next six modes on the menu are the static colour modes. The first one should read “R” on the screen followed by a number between 0 and 250. This is the red dimmer mode. You can adjust the set colour of this mode by holding the down/up buttons and scrolling through the numbers and picking a colour variant. To match a group of wall washer lights together in the same colour just remember the number of the colour you have chosen and program each light with the same number.

Repeat this again for the next 5 modes, choosing a colour and a number. They are “G” for green, “B” for blue, “O” for white and “Y” for yellow.

Once you have chosen your colour or your mode, simply place the light next to a wall and tilt the light cradle to the desired position. It will illuminate around 5m2 of wall space. Battery run time is around 6-8 hours.

DMX Controller

By connecting a wireless remote antenna to a DMX controller and synching them to a group of wall washer lights, their colours and modes can be controlled as a group, rather than being manually set individually.
